09 Apr Covid 19 Testing Improves
As we are hearing from the main stream media, testing is the absolute core of identifying people in a population who test positive and can pass the virus to others. Until very very recently the test for covid 19 took two days to deliver a result, so there are two extra days a person who tests positive would have to pass it along to others. The World Health Organization initially advanced that an infected person was passing the virus to 2.5 others, but recent data shows that the number is closer to 5.7. Shortening the time required for obtaining a positive or negative result will logically lower this number. We believe this should be a serious focus. Abbot labs now has a test available that gets a result in 5- 13 minutes. https://www.abbott.com/corpnewsroom/product-and-innovation/abbott-launches-novel-coronavirus-test.html
Hopefully we will see these testing machines/ technology broadly distributed right now.
Stay safe, take your temperature a couple times a day, wash your hands, do not share things that you touch and wear a mask. Don’t get into elevators. When you see the fast test available near you, go get tested.
Once this pandemic calms down, you should consider obtaining our attic zipper product, it is a facemask for your home.
